Thomas Wynn

Thomas Wynn has been in the investment business since 1981 starting as a trader’s assistant at Engmann Options on the Pacific Stock Exchange. Thomas became an equity and options trader in 1985 and in 1987 formed his own trading company, Wynn Options.

Starting with only $25,000 of his own capital Thomas built a successful trading system and lived solely off the profits of his own trading from 1987 until 2003.

In 2003 Thomas became a registered investment advisor and founded Wynn Capital Management with the belief that the risk management techniques of the professional trader could benefit long term investors.

Thomas is a recognized expert in the use of exchange traded funds and listed equity options. Near the lows of the 2008-2009 market meltdown Thomas was ranked near the top of his category by Money Manager Review:

• For 1 year performance WCM was ranked #3 out of 66.
• For 3 year performance WCM was ranked #5 out of 58.
• For 5 year performance WCM was ranked #17 out of 54.

In addition WCM is consistently ranked highly for having the lowest risk and volatility in our category.
